Škoda Auto: Turning the coach into a mobile office
The largest Czech car manufacturer approached us with a request to provide transport for their senior management to meetings in a number of German cities. Our task was to provide a premium means of transport to convey the managers quickly and comfortably to their destination, and which could be turned into an office, so that the passengers could work during the journey as in a normal office or meeting room.
The top-class Setra 516 HDH coach with panoramic roof, comfortable Setra Voyage Ambassador seats, and other premium features, was the best choice to meet these requirements. This coach provides passengers with ultimate comfort and individual luxury on long-distance journeys.
In addition to the high-end Hi-Fi system which this versatile coach features as standard, we added several audio and video inputs especially for this client. After connecting a small sound mixer and Apple TV, the coach was transformed into a fully operational office, with the option to stream presentations to the coach screens.
Before every journey, we also install four to five tables in the coach, and provide the client with catering throughout the journey. The client had very high standards when it came to catering and other details, so we selected the supplier with particular care. We fine-tuned the configuration of the vehicle and all services after the first trip to Berlin, and now this is something we do routinely.
Škoda Auto was very satisfied with our concept as it met all their requirements, ensuring a comfortable journey which allowed them to focus on business. In addition to occasional trips for senior management, the company now also hires the coach for regular learning journeys for the company’s managers.
